Outstanding research done by young scientists will be rewarded in 2010 with the launch of the Eureka Prize for Early Career Research.

Proudly sponsored by Macquarie University, the Eureka Prize for Early Career Research will be awarded for outstanding scientific research conducted by an individual (or groups) of early career researchers who are 35 years or younger.

Macquarie University's research excellence span a wide range of disciplines including cognitive science, lasers and photonics, biomolecular frontiers and wireless communications just to name a few.

Macquarie University turns 50 in 2014, and when they do, they want to rank amongst the top 200 research intensive universities in the world.

Macquarie's investment in the next generation of scientists, through the sponsorship of the Eureka Prize for Early Career Research, shows they are serious in supporting the future of Australian science.
